This new category recognises the growing importance of secure, trusted access to public services — from identity verification to authentication — as more services move fully online. As government shifts toward digital-first delivery, trust is no longer optional; it is the foundation.
Judges are looking for:
- How does this improve secure access to services?
- How was trust built (verification, fraud prevention, transparency)?
- What impact did it have on access, security, or uptake?
- How easy is it for users to understand and use?
- Can it support multiple services or organisations?
Judges reward clear evidence, not claims. Use data, examples and results wherever possible.
Open to any government-funded service across the island of Ireland.
