Frank Feighan TD is Minister of State at the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, with special responsibility for Public Procurement, Digitalisation and eGovernment. He was appointed to the role in November 2025.

His portfolio places him at the heart of the Government’s programme to transform how public services are designed and delivered through digital technology. This includes Ireland’s Digital Public Services Plan 2030, which aims to make 100% of key public services available online by 2030, alongside the development of shared digital infrastructure, more joined-up services and greater use of data and emerging technologies across government.

Since taking up the role, Minister Feighan has been closely involved in initiatives including the Government Digital Wallet, the use and procurement of AI within the public service, and the development of resilient digital infrastructure. In 2026, he represented Ireland at Mobile World Congress, showcasing new 4G and 5G communications technology designed to support emergency services and public protection during major incidents.

A long-serving member of both Dáil and Seanad Éireann, he previously served as Minister of State at the Department of Health. He was re-elected to Dáil Éireann in 2024 for the Sligo-Leitrim constituency.
